The KAVU Strapcap is a four-panel cap hand cut and sewn in Seattle from 100% certified organic cotton, built around the same durable construction that’s defined the design since 1991. Its standout feature is the beefy nylon tubular webbing strap rated to a 4,000lb breaking point, secured with five 43-stitch bar tacks and a KAVU D-ring adjustment for a dialed fit. A tough polyurethane bill with heat-laminated underbill rounds out the build, while 1-inch grosgrain-covered internal seams keep the structure clean and lasting. Available in small, medium, and large with a low 3.5-inch crown profile suited to a wide range of head shapes.
