The Swimming ISO Emerger is a collaborative fly pattern designed by Jeff White and Pat Giordano specifically for Isonychia hatches on the Delaware River system. Tied on a floating nymph hook, the pattern sits low in the water column and rides flush in the film, mimicking the swimming behavior of Isonychia nymphs as they move toward the surface. A CDC and deer hair combination wing delivers both visibility and natural buoyancy, making it effective during higher water conditions when Isonychias tend to hatch in open water rather than crawling to shore.
